If you want to hear something amusing -- here's this:

So there I was working my bench flyes at the gym in July '07.
Flat bench. Regular routine. No big deal.
Went around and did all my machines. Chest day.
After awhile I realized my water bottle was missing so I went looking for it.
Went back to that bench where I'd started ~10-15 min before, and found...
my extra little hygiene item sitting merrily on the floor of the free weights room.
And I was the only female there at the time.

Nice.
(sigh).

So I got a little miffed and picked it up, all embarrassed, and thought to myself,
there has got to be a better way.
So I went home, designed a product and started a company.
and THAT's the (true) story of how PortaPocket was born.
Make that lemonade, sweetheart!! :-))

p.s. I actually happened to have pants on with pockets that day...the little bugger just rolled on out of my pocket when I wasn't looking. Which just goes to show... even pants with pockets aren't the answer sometimes (just try those on a roller coaster loop and witness all the fun) !!
